Our purpose is to simply provide information to the curious and gather together those with an interest in this ancient art. You'll have a chance to hit hot steel, ask questions, eat, have a beverage, and get class information.

Very Important!!

This event is free but registration is mandatory. Please RSVP at the bottom of this page.

Free.  Contributions gratefully accepted. Beverages, snacks, Mom's chili, hot coffee, hot chocolate provided:)

The event is at Hammered Heart Forge Studio located at 272 Lowell Drive in Sharpsburg. We're located on a working horse farm so mind the ducks, riders, dogs, geese and any critters on the way in.  Follow the signs. Dress for the weather...we'll have a fire going to warm you up. Map below

Saturday, November 28th from 11am to 5pm.

Things to Remember

  • Dress for the weather and the environment.  This is a working studio which means that dirt, grit, and heat  are always present.

  • Safety glasses are required and supplied.  You may, of course, bring your own.

  • Long hair should be tied back or under a hat.

  • Photos are encouraged but mustn't interfere with others working.

  • Those under 17 must be accompanied by a related, responsible adult.

  • This is not a child-friendly environment. Children are most welcome and add to the fun HOWEVER small children must be closely monitored at all times.
