HHF's 3rd Annual
Ladies Only MetalArt Silver and Leather Cuff Workshop
What
This is an hands-on event. We'll be using basic metal forming techniques to create a silver and leather cuff with domed copper rivets ... this workshop is intended for beginners ... no experience necessary:)
The workshop is led by Michael Sebacher, a local artisan and teacher. See his bio here.
You'll have a chance to explore a working artisan-blacksmith studio located on a working horse farm. You'll learn some basic metal and leather forming skills ... and enjoy the company of others who share your interest.
We'll have hot coffee and light refreshments.
Cost
Workshop cost is $100 ... this covers everything needed to create your cuff. (materials for additional cuffs are $25 each payable at the workshop) PayPal payment below. You will receive a confirmation email from HHF within 24 hours after payment.
When
Workshop date is Saturday, January 22nd from 11am to 4pm.
Where
The workshop is given is at Hammered Heart Forge Studio located at 272 Lowell Drive in Sharpsburg.
We're located on a working horse farm so mind the ducks, riders, dogs, geese and critters on the way in.
Things to Remember

Dress for the weather and the environment. This is a working studio ... dirt, grit, and heat are always present.

Safety glasses are required and supplied...you may bring your own.

Long hair should be tied back or under a hat.

Photos are encouraged but mustn't interfere with others working.

Those under 17 must be accompanied by a related, responsible adult.

This is not a child-friendly environment and unsafe for children 12 and under.
